Children are the gardeners of the future, teach them well. Gardening
provides many wonderful life lessons for children and allows you and
your child some wonderful time to interact. Some children will eat broccoli
that they helped grow in the garden when they do not normally want it.
To make this endeavor successful, it really helps to have tools that
are small enough for children to handle. We have a selection of
tools sized for the preschooler and early grade school children
that includes different rakes, hoes, shovels and even a broom. We also
have and hand tools and gloves. The Natural Gardener has also put together
a selection of children's books
that have stories about bugs, butterflies, plants and other things that
children would encounter in the garden along with garden-related toys.

seed line we like the best and that is hard to answer as all of them
have advantages. Seeds of Change has a great vegetable selection and
are all organic and open pollinated. Botanical Interest has a huge variety
of flowers, herbs and vegetables and great prices. Renees Garden

for home gardens available for sale. There are several different designs.
Wire bins are great for garden clippings and leaves. The rotating composters

brown mater.) We also have stationary composters that are closed to
keep out critters. If one of these doesnt work we have books or
other information on building your own backyard compost area.
